116th SIGNAL RADIO
INTELLIGENCE COMPANY

This project was funded by the generous contributions of Oscar Loveless, Jules Weinberg and Ralph M. Wilk, veterans of the 116th Signal Radio Intelligence Company, with additional funding provided by the Supporting Members of the Army Security Agency Alpiners Reunion Group.

Special thanks to Col. Quentin L. Zell, former Commanding Officer of Field Station 8608 AAU/DU (Scheyern) whose original book, given to your Editor, was the start of this project.  Thanks also to Ralph M. Wilk and Jules Weinberg, 116th SRIC veterans, who loaned me their copies of the original book so we could provide the highest quality product for display on our web site.

The book not only contains the narrative of the unit but also many pictures taken along the way.   Because of the size of the original book (about 130 pages) our web master has broken the product into five sections to make the downloading easier.  Be aware that the download time with a dial-up connection will be about 10-15 minutes per section.  Save a copy of each downloaded section on your hard drive to make secondary downloads quicker.
