Well our tried and true semi-official reunion photographer JOE STROCK (Wels/Bad Aibling/Nottau 54-56) came through for us again.  Joe's 100+ pictures of the 2005 Charleston Reunion are now posted on our web page.  You can click on each individual picture to give you an enlarged view.

Attention all you WEST COAST ASAers.  Several months ago the idea came up to have a separate West Coast mini-reunion to accommodate you guys living on the left side of the country.  I did a check of our last snail mail listing and we show about 80 of you living in the States of CA, WA, OR, NV and AZ.  If there is any interest in such a mini-reunion, which would not conflict with the regularly scheduled reunion, shoot me an e-mail and let me know your thoughts one way or the other.  If there is enough interest the first West Coast reunion would be one year ahead of the regular reunion, meaning it would be in May of 2006.  We would need an on-site coordinator so if you are not only interested in attending a West Coast reunion but would like to host it, please let me know when you reply.  What with the holiday season fast upon us, I probably would not expect any follow-up on your opinions until our February newsletter.

KEN MANCIL (Bad Aibling 52/62-65, Hof/Heilbronn/Manheim/Herzo 52-55, Zweibruecken 62-65) also sent in a few pictures from the Charleston Reunion.  They are at the Webmaster's right now and will be posted to the site in the near future.  You will have to check back on the web site in a week or so to see if they are up yet.

BOB SPALDING (Scheyern 52-54), and our Reno Reunion on-site coordinator, sent us an e-mail informing us that he has solved his "stone" problem and got himself a hearing aid.  We're still trying to figure out if the two maladies are related in any way.

Our next newsletter scheduled for January 1st will probably be a couple of days late.  Eda and I will be celebrating our 50th on December 31st and it will probably take me a couple of days after that to get my act together.  So, in closing, I want to wish all of you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and happy holidays to our non-Christian buddies.  May God's blessings be on all of you.

Our last E-newsletter for supporting member William (Bill) R. Shankland (Bad Aibling 55-56) bounced.  Last know address was in Gloversville, NY.
