Volume 1 - Number 3 ASMNGoing to the reunion? If you haven't
sent off for your Charleston Visitors Guide yet, better get on
the ball and order it now. I just got mine and it was ordered
quite a while ago. If you forgot the address, go to our web
site, click on the reunion news and then on the Visitors Bureau
e-mail address. The guide is great and it will help you to
decide on what interesting things you want to see or do.
Word just in that the dress parade at
The Citadel will be held on October 21st at 3:45 p.m. Mark
your calendars so you don't miss this great event.
Got a nice e-mail from Clive Sanders,
one of our British counter-parts. Clive is on our mailing
list and he had picked up on our mention of Königslutter in
the obit for George Degenhard. Clive was part of the British
Detachment at Bad Aibling in 1968-69 prior to being stationed in
Langeleben, just outside of Königslutter, with the 225 Signal
Squadron (Radio) where, from August 1969 until 1975, he continued
on DF and SIGINT collection. Clive would like to get in contact
with Ralph Schriver and Denny Trandhem from his BA days. We
already checked the ASA Locator, without success, so if any of
you Bad Aiblingers have any contact information, pass it back to
me and I will forward it to Clive. Too bad we didn't know
about it sooner, but the Brits just had their 12th reunion (May
27-29, 2005) at the Königshof hotel in Königslutter -
they alternate their annual reunions between the U.K. and Köenigslutter.
